As a result, CRI has earned the trust of business owners large and small across the U.S. The organization is led by one of the finest, most experienced teams in the industry.
CRI’s Principals include:
Thomas R. Ullrich Executive Vice President, has worked with a major direct-writing insurance company, an association-owned agency, and has owned a direct-writing insurance agency. He’s been integral in forming many of CRI’s captives.
Jennifer T. Beard CPCU, Chief Operating Officer, oversees CRI’s largest heterogeneous captive. An alternative insurance veteran for more than 25 years, she specializes in new program development, quality control, reinsurance, coverage requirements and negotiations.
George Rusu CPCU, Chairman & CEO, co-founder of CRI, has led the company’s growth for more than 20 years. He has served as a director to numerous companies including CRI’s Captive Investors Fund and to industry associations.
Michael J. Kilbane CPA, President, oversees all aspects of each CRI-administered group captive and is Chairman and a Director of CRI’s Captive Investors Fund. He previously held top management positions with an international consumer products company.
Ernest Achtien CPA, CPCU, Chief Financial Officer, oversees all financial aspects of captives, and is resource for all insurance tax issues. Formerly a partner in public accounting, he led the Chicago office in tax services to insurance companies.
Andrew O. Johnson ARM, CSP, Executive Vice President–Risk Control Services, oversees CRI’s safety and claims professionals, and manages loss prevention and claims management services provided to client companies by outside vendors.
Nicholas J. Hentges CIC, Executive Vice President and Sales Manager, oversees all CRI sales professionals and their training and development, and manages one of CRI’s largest homogeneous captives.
