Itasca, IL [February 26, 2026] — Captive Resources, LLC, a leading consultant to group captive insurance companies headquartered in Itasca, IL, has announced an updated leadership structure for its Property & Casualty (P&C) business. Building on the Executive Committee's recent updates, these appointments are designed to reinforce the organization’s long-term commitment to sustainable growth, strategic alignment, and the enduring partnerships that define its work with brokers and clients.
Here’s an overview of the updates to our P&C leadership team:
Formerly the President of P&C, Boulus leads the P&C business at the highest level, holding executive responsibility for overall department strategy, operational excellence, and financial performance. In this role, Boulus serves as the senior-most point of alignment across members, brokers, and carrier relationships, ensuring the business operates with clarity and accountability as Captive Resources continues to grow.
Moving into a new role, Cameron has been appointed President of P&C Captive Consulting. Cameron will oversee the Captive Executive (CE) team and provide executive leadership of the captive portfolio as well as oversight of Managing Directors, ensuring alignment with carrier partners at the captive level.
As Chief Growth Officer, Christie will take ownership of business development strategy and execution across the P&C business. Christie leads the Business Development Executive (BDE) team and serves as the senior point of contact for key broker relationships, working to deepen and expand partnerships central to Captive Resources’ growth.
Captive Resources is also pleased to announce the appointments of Jim Furio, Matt Atkinson, Dan Hahn, and Andrew Vernon as Managing Directors within the P&C business. Together, they will provide direct oversight of both market and captive relationships across their respective portfolios, serving as the primary escalation point for brokers, members, and carriers. Each Managing Director will lead a dedicated team of CEs. Their combined experience and direct involvement in day-to-day captive and marketing relationships make them a strong and accessible resource for the brokers and clients they serve.
“Under JP’s leadership, P&C is poised to strengthen its position as the market leader in the group captive space,” said John Pontin, President, Captive Resources. “Brokers and members can expect faster communication, stronger relationships, and a team that is fully aligned around serving them at the highest level.”
